When I was about 9, my grandmother taught me to fold a fitted sheet. I used that knowledge regularly in my retail management career, believe it or not.

I also learned how to cook having grown up in a Cajun kitchen or two. That came in through all grandmas/grandpas, great grandmas/grandpas, aunts, uncles, parents, etc.
