I know multiple recent uni grads having trouble finding jobs.

Slow economy + AI taking jr level roles = less demand for new grads.

Competing with AI is a losing battle.

IMO gen z needs to learn to leverage these tools to provide value. It's our biggest advantage over an older workforce that don't understand how to use them.

I this week I used cursor to create what would have taken a team weeks of coding and reviewing in only a couple of hours and it was exactly what I wanted. I was even able to tell it was wrong without hurting its feelings or having to talk to HR.

Not vibe coding. Just solid engineering.

The junior dev of the future needs to be able to this at the bare minimum going forward or it is going to be hard for anyone with any experience to be able to justify hiring you.

You are already using nostr more than yer dad, well on your way

Haha totally!!

The bind of graduate educators, they need to be able to use AI, but they can’t use AI so their ability in a traditional sense can be “assessed”.
