I dont have a twitter anymore the most common thing I hear is content. Lost of shit on twitter thats not on nostr yet. (Ie sports news, politics..etc)
There are some tiwtter bots i used to follow that id like to see here. One was a BGP status bot and a few other bots that tracked global net traffic.
Content will come with time imo. But for now there are legit reasons to still use twitter despite the dystopian hellhole it's kind of becoming. Nitter is a nice way to view content without an account.
I deleted the app on my everyday phone, I have it only on the second one I use at home. Use Twitter only to verify some page or to check some #finance threads.
That is something probably I miss here, some good macro and economic people, and some charts.

another good example is local engagement for instance i'm the webmaster of a local radio station and they absolutely hate traditional social media and are interested in nostr but won't join it due to the lack of local reach.

Years of habit. But I am much reduced over there.
Engagement on several topics. I love nostr as technology but I rarely interact here. Secondly, on Twitter I engage with other Belgians. Onmastdondon, there are soms. Here I intact with none.

Take them here, 🟣 pill them, explain them why #nostr, explain them why it would be better to start exploring it now than you still don't Need it, because some day, one day, they will.. like the moment they will have something to say against the "current thing" and that will cause a shadowban or a lower score on the Social Credit card.. and I am not talking about China, take a look of what's happening in Canada and the new policy and rules for Socials and similar..

I prefer #nostr for the quality of people, higher singal content, and enagement/real conversations. Right now I probably spend 90% of time here and 10% on X lurking.
There are still things I can't find here. This will be unpopular but some examples:
-was just in the market for buying a car, found good resources on brands/availability etc on x
-i follow formula 1 ... there's a lot more people and news on x, it's not very likable content here
-I enjoy dunking on shitcoiners/peter schiff's of the world
-industry news (finance/homes etc) is still better on x
I switched to Wine and my followers dropped to 1 and Content Not Found notes increased 4x.
Sticking with nostr
x gives me a variety of topics, less repetitive Bitcoin comment, and a better UX

I still browse X but don't engage.. I look for opportunities to inform about Nostr. I don't spam people with Nostr - I look for opportunities that are relevant like when someone is complaining about X for a variety of reasons!!!

Only thing I go back to twitter for is the big macro names. Luke Gromen, Michael Howell, Jeff Snider,. etc.
Never for very long of course because it's a steaming pile of shit. But, hey, at least it's not Facebook.
