I started my own business last year. It take smoney to make money, for sure. You're risking something either way. You risk the first now or you risk never taking the opportunity.

You might be able to work out an agreement where you run the wires and let them install the equipment and do the connections.. depends on what they're comfortable with. Getting the cable from point A to point B can be the most time consuming part and labor is the most expensive part of any job.

Though a good electrician should still ALWAYS assess the panel/system before adding to it.

That being said I know some great electricians that waaay under price themselves.. so you light get lucky too.

Make sure you find someone you can trust.

If you find a shitty electrician you could get it pretty cheap though! Couple hundred lol

I don't know your market.

Every situation is unique.

I always assess everything related to it and then give six options, typically, from the best, most thorough, and most permanent solution to the simplest and most economical.

Most basic (from me) might be 500 to 1000 if everything related to the work is already in fine condition and working order.

Sometimes the situation might require so much to be done before the task at hand is even doable. For instance if your system is already overloaded and needs to be upgraded before more can even be added to it in the first place it can be multiple thousands.

You mean a disconnect for a heat pump? They're quite simple.

I don't know the laws I your region, but where I am you need to be a licensed electrician to do it, but the work itself is straightforward.

There's usually a fix for that.

I bought a colddcard mk4 ages ago and set up my keys, plus a watch only wallet on my phone with Nunchuck using NFC.

When I bought a new phone, downloaded Nunchuck, and signed in I realized I'd need to export the wallet again to the new phone.

When I did that, it was an empty wallet.

There are clearly some gaps in my knowledge and I feel I could use some help.

I'd rather continue to use NFC.

I'd rather not just be told to go and watch BTC Sessions video.
