Here’s a scorpion mama I found on the side grill…

I’ve been watching the little buggers grow day by day and maybe I’m crazy but she seems more relaxed about my daily visits.

Didn’t know baby scorpions attach themselves to their mothers back like that. That’s wild.

Is that what’s happening? Was trying to figure that out.

Yeah I had to google it to find out that it’s actually a thing that they do lol

I think this is how my wife must feel when the kiddos are all over her giving her zero space. 😂

Saving photo for the “you’re like a scorpion, baby” comment. /s

/s is for stupidity here

😂😂

Just read that she probably will snack on a few if she gets hungry 🫣

Insane haha

Wild right!! Same, like a week ago when I first noticed it seemed like the scorpion was being eaten alive, but then I realized they were just babies chillan

Wow that’s big

Mamma mia.

Is this one of the dangerous kinds? (Sorry if this is a silly question, but there are definitely no such creatures in Austria, and I’m somewhat glad about that. 😅)

No idea honestly, but a mama with that many babies I ain’t tryna find out 😅

Oh hellllll no

Thanks I hate it

Jesus, where do you live? My nightmares?

🤣🤣🤣

👀 this is cool

Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope

Enough nostr for today.

Glad I could be of service 🫡

Nunca ví un escorpión 🦂 así 🫢🫣

Yo tampoco

WTF 😮

Mine aren't colored nearly as cool (or as big) in the North Sonoran.

That's awesome!

The ones at my house are more this color.

Do you have the ones that glow in the dark?

Basically, yes.

The Bark scorpion and Desert hairy scorpions (the majority of scorpions in my area, and the latter being the one pictured) are two of the many that fluoresce under UV light.

It's how we generally find them around the property.

A thoroughly suboptimal situation.

NO!
