yeah the history there is is very very long but basically eddie and DLR never saw eye to eye, even in the earliest form of van halen and it got to a point where he was um. asked to quit. to put it nicely. lol.
Oh man. Egos are the arbiters of so much creative downfall. Both personalities were huge, though Eddie was so quiet. I guess the stage wasn’t big enough for both of them.
