Hmm well I’m no expert. This is my first time gardening solo from start to finish and second year ever gardening.
I save seeds from the best peppers; organic as well. I use organic soil. Start them off from seed during the winter months. I harden the seedlings off by introducing a fan, proper lighting and heat. Then expose them to the outdoors a little at a time each day until I can plant them outdoors when the weather allows.
I didn’t have an actual garden bed to plant in this year so I used self draining quality felt growing bags. I made sure to plant each pepper plant separately and with enough organic soil; for these peppers I used 5 gallon bags.
I made sure to keep them watered especially during the heat but would water in the early morning or later in the evening when it was coolest.
Hope this helps! ☺️
