So many people still post screenshots with text but without #AltText. They perhaps don't know that #Mastodon has OCR if they used image descriptions (at least via the browser). You want to give them an AltText (or read the post) and you know the problem: You can't use their #OCR. For this take the bot @ ocrbot@kolektiva.social (without space)

Mark it in a comment and it will give you the text via OCR technique. The default is English, you can change the language code. #feditips
