I shared this and the paper with a community that is probably more likely than most to contain functional schizoid engineers with appropriate expertise to qualify.
Frankly, I don't know that I have the expertise to qualify but it's probably worth it for us to have a discussion and let you "kick the tires" and see how much or little time I would need to be brought up to speed and be capable of contributing value.

I have some Erlang experience from working in an IoT automation and telemetry product.
The RF protocol was proprietary and it was handled by spawning a gen_statem (refactored from gen_fsm) process per product in the mesh network. It was simple but effective.
