Finally took the time to set up GPG signing for all my Git commits.

Does anyone here encrypt all their emails with a GPG key?

Dude! You can sign git with your SSH key now.

How is that better? I just went with GPG because of how easy it is with GPP tools on macOS.

GPG is kind of arcane. The key signing parties never took off.

Well, my SSH key is set up now for Git. Thank you so much for your help.

It's unfortunate that you cant (yet) sign git commits with your nostr key. But that will surely happen one day.

I'm working on a way to convert nostr keys to ed25519 keys which you can then sign and put in your nostr profile. The #nostr web of trust is going to be a lot better than the GPG WoT because relays are more efficent than keyservers

Plus this:

We can see a huge web of trust from nostr, which can feed into verifyable git commits

Easy to do so with proton mail but no.

Signal is my default

Proton is undefeated. They accept #BTC for their VPN btw

And premium service. Generally great but I couldn’t get use to their interface.

They changed a lot. New app design is quite nice.

i use protonmail, mailfence proposed the same service and tutanota (gpg possibility)
