The person you're citing is completely misguided, the change has nothing to do with what they're observing -- in fact, the change would fix their problem, as tags authored in non-Mastodon software that are not included in the body of the post would become visible for the first time. Do you have a set of tests I can look at to better understand the behavior you've designed? I was relying on the screenshots in the Github issue.
