My understanding of benefits of the latter over long form is that there is a nostr native system for referencing specific e.g. chapters, paragraphs.
Yes, we already arranged to republish it as a complete book, with each article as a chapter. I'll include a reference to the article in the chapter, so that people can click over and see all the comments and reactions and stuff. Should then be viewable on #Alexandria, Chachi, and over the Flutter Widgets.
