There was a surge in Bitcoin Knots nodes during the first ordinal wave, it peaked at 500 nodes. However the trend completely reversed and people slowly switched back to Bitcoin core over the course of two years.

Anybody of those ~450 people here who likes to elaborate why they dropped Knots?
