They deplatform people all the time based on increasing KYC requirements arbitrarily and people not being able to comply for privacy reasons or otherwise. It's probably down to our fiat overlords in Washington, Brussels etc., existing soley to create red tape and burdensome compliance requirements. It's time to opt out of the legacy, crumbling fiat world. The future is Bitcoin.
I suspect they were asked to by a federal agency.
It's quite telling how so many governments have encryption, privacy, and unmoderated spaces directly in the line of fire right after the Covid Crisis is no longer the main focus.
Seems like they learned some lessons and are actively working on loose ends.
Sad to see so many lower their guard because "It's over"
