When we are this early, every time you pay for something in Bitcoin, you know the merchant is a Bitcoiner. Distribution of old Bitcoins eventually spreads among those who sees the value of Bitcoin most, ie. The deserving hands.

When you pay merchants who does not want Bitcoin with bitcoins, those sats aren't lost as they are almost immediately sold to those who want them.

Bitcoin is virtually indestructible and will always find its way into the hands of the most deserving to hold it.

Then... send some to me 😉

I've been accepting bitcoin for several years now. The only thing is, not a single client has so far been the least bit interested in paying me in bitcoin.

I offer a small discount on all payments made in BTC. Have converted a number of people this way and the % discount is about the same as I would pay in fees to buy Bitcoin in a P2P market anyway.
