One thing I really like about technology is that in the long arc of time it isn't politicized. It just *is*.

In the emergent stage it's often politicized. But then eventually it just wins.

Electricity was a topic of political opinions until it wasn't. Same for cars. Same for Bitcoin. Same for everything that changes things in a big way.

Politics are powerful, but they are local and temporary. Technology is global and permanent. It either works and spreads, or it doesn't and fades.

Politicians exploit Bitcoin because it possesses the characteristics of a religion, and a religion is far more powerful than any politician.

Similar to a god who empowers the priests, the priests may die, but God remains forever.

Constantine well understood this.
