It's not a pure varietal honey, but a mix of whatever wildflowers were blooming in our area when the bees made it! This was harvested in late summer and we had a very wet year (lots of blooms), so I think that gave this batch a very distinct flavor compared to the year before which was milder (and also lighter in color).
My daughter loved it. She even stopped using butter and bread and was going in with the spoon 😅
