A flip switched in my head about a year or so ago, I was just thinking about it.

I went from always thinking about work and keeping my personal life lean to fit around it to now always thinking about my personal development, my future and connections and only thinking about work when I am in front of the laptop.

Maybe even thinking about my personal life while at work too.

I think it sort of shows in the fact that I'm really only getting by at work.

Benefits include:

- now focusing on my health

- feeling more busy outside of work

- I feel like I am the real me, not the work persona me.

Possible other explanations than just a change in social media:

- Has anyone noticed that the workplace is feeling more and more sterile, you can't be yourself because it might offend someone so you are now focusing on work and putting on a mask at the same time for 8 hours a day. There is a lot less socialising at work, so there's little reason to invest more of yourself to an environment where you feel that you are growing as a person. Now we have to do that elsewhere.
