I don’t know how people can live a carnivore lifestyle in Japan…

Beef is very pricey (the half decent stuff not from China). Pork is much more affordable and so is chicken (more expensive than pork unless from China). I avoid all food from China.

Even vegetables are expensive in the cities. Luckily for me in rural area they are super cheap.

Chinese standards are actually pretty good in specific catagories, e.g. their dairy is basically medical grade, the level of testing is insane.

the national standard is definitly less strict than us, australia and nz. but china has some good brands following its own standard. the industrial standard is being controled by several big brands like everything else
