Would be cool to see the price next to each one

Always confused by the use of Ossification in tech/internet circles because I only knew this definition.

Finally looked up the intended meaning today

The modern version I learned today circled in red:

Unfortunately bitcoin doesnt ossify itself. First step was to issue the coins, which is almost done. Next phase is to ossify the protocol and harden the tail emission against deep reorgs and other things that could lead to disruption or a chain split.

Some good ideas have been suggested so far. I think the one that everyone can get behind is to decentralize mining with stratumv2, and maybe have alerts against various forms of disruptive behaviour.

It's a conversation that is likely to take years. But higher security leads to higher price. And at the end with ossification bitcon will have all use cases and be something that can last for decades or centuries.

Not completely true. The hole on the cap was added in 1991.

When it works it works! I'm looking forward to a simpler/more peaceful life under the bitcoin standard with flourishing arts
