RoboSats Admin Banned From Telegram, Communications Moved to Matrix, SimpleX & Nostr
RoboSats group owner was indiscriminately banned by Telegram and thus managing the group effectively is no longer possible. As a result, the project's communications are migrating to other platforms.

Telegram can ban people for apparently no reason.
All centralized platforms can ban users for any reason. It's usually in the terms of service, too (not that anyone reads those). I don't remember seeing a ToS when I generated my npub though 😏
what's Matrix?
Ive been using matrix for 3 or 4 years. Its like
Self-hosted slack kindof. It is also optiinally federated so you can contact other people with their MXID (e.g. @bob:bobscompany.com) which is tied to their own matrix server and is based on domain name.
