Finally got this working! Now my bitcoin node executes a shell script which logs price data from a bunch of different exchanges every time a new block is found.

Honestly...the easiest way is to just let ChatGPT hold your hand through it all. I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to do any of this with it.
Is that right? Have a paid sub but haven’t been using it much. And I’ve wanted to tinker with block data for a long time but never get around to it. Maybe will give it a try!!
