Are you saying I should manage my mints actively and add more than one mint? Will that improve privacy and performance on zapping?
It will reduce the chances of you being rug pulled by the mint operator and lose all your sats at once.

Currently, the minibits mint seems to be the mosts popular / trustworthy. Is there a similar popular mint available somewhere else?
I trust no one with large sat amounts. I'm playing around with a few hundred mainnet sats on a few cashu mints and a few fedimints.
I'm also playing with larger amounts on testnet and segnet, and I'm planning to set up my own Fedi federation and my own Cashu mint on test net to play around and teach some family members before setting them up with mainnet sats in a couple of years...

I remember it vividly. That was the first podcast about Cashu, a week or two after the initial publication. Luna is a legend.

i know, i got rekt by several mints. now that i only trust one mint who's operator i know for sure.
so it's become a chicken or egg situation for ecash adoption.
I didn't hear if mint rugs yet, can you tell us? Only incident I'm aware of is the early LNbits debacle (they got hacked and rugged and then disabled all Cashu mints).
LNbits was one, unfortunately out of hack.
the other one is eNuts as far as I can recall, I sent a note very long time ago about it, small accidents later on I didn't keep track of them.
