Ok another AI scenario question - AGI is developed for real, and it puts millions out of work.
What next? I think nearly everyone on Nostr knows why “Universal Basic Income” doesn’t work.
What do these huge swaths of people do to survive?
I can imagine communities being formed where human organizations go “back to basics”. Where they work together to farm, build, protect for one another. And obviously, using sound money.
How would they aquire the resources to do so ? Wouldn't it be all owned by smart people with AI ?

Me neither, I somehow hope it plays out differently than what we can imagine now 😅. Will most people end up in reservations like native tribes in a modern world ?
Well, I personally don’t think AGI will happen. I think it’s a sci-fi fantasy that’s been weaponized into a marketing campaign. But, I’ve also struggled to deal with the hype, so this was an attempt to find other possibilities beyond the doom and gloom.
Would be great actually if it didn't happen. It's actually great to be in charge of the models and in general to have a productive live. The current gen models makes me way more productive. It's like a super power, if it just getting better without making me useless ... well that would be awesome! But Bitcoin is the insurance against AGI, just to be safe.
