Why a national divorce and not an urban one. Geographically speaking most of America just wants to be left alone. After all all, the craziest, insane, and loudest complaints are from these urban populations.
I propose, they build a big beautiful wall around these cities to keep out gun clutching Bible thumpers that they they claim are threaten their way of life. Then they can stop gun trafficking, limit exposure to free speech, and shrink all exercise of individual rights to with in such liberties as they deem acceptable.
Then we can just watch from a distance as their ideas reach a new manifest destiny.
