Just rediscovered this ... and its really rare that i get this "fuck yeah!" feeling from an historical song...
Second life lesson learned from my wife: Chopsticks are the most versatile kitchen utility imginable
Thanks to russia there is as least hope for the defense industrie i guess...
Life lesson learned because married to my wife:
It may look weird at first but pizza is best cut with scissors.
A morning in the life of an IT guy: While driving to the company my mobile rings frantically but i cannot wriggle it out of my pocket... the call drops three times while worst case cenarios emerge in my head (ransomware? major outage?) until i finally manage to pick it up just to hear "Hey, i just wanted to remind you that Dave is leaving today and he brought a giant cake"
Now i need a coffee...

Interesting workday: Starting with a long chat with my boss about Bitcoin integration, and finishing with a new asignment regarding the development of a new app which will be hosted on the "Internetcomputer" of DFINITY
A mug of fresh coffee, the birds are chirping outside and my boss old me that he wants to gain a deeper understanding of Bitcoin and wants to evaluate if we can intgrate it in our business processes... so far a good start into the day

Thumb-key is the only thing that keeps me from abandoning touchscreen mobile phones alltogether...
Sometimes you can make people really happy as an IT guy: Just showed someone that you really NOT need to manually port > 500 contacts from gmail to Outlook
After being out of the loop of the whole #Web3 for a couple of years i am simply amazed at the cambrian explosion of the whole ecosystem of #decentralised technologies. Somehow it feels a bit like the time when i started my journey in the IT world back at the end of the 80s with a downhanded C64... its overwhelming but absolutely cool... and so much new to learn
I am not an american, so i have more or less a view from the spectator seat, but i find it interesting how long this divide between the citites and "everyone else" seems to exist... i can remember being around in some "special" forum back in the late 90s or early 00s when a guy calling himself John Titor did forsee a coming civil war in the US not between states, but more or less between the city dwelling populous and the countryside.
Ok, the guy also claimed to be a time traveller, but nevertheless an interesting insight in the american psyche...
