I find this to be true for myself as well. Once moved to CS, it’s like it doesn’t exist and have to acquire more.

Absolutely.

Cold storage is mentally a one way street of sats entering and none leaving.

A good skeuomorphic representation in my mind is a bank vault of sats.

I also like to position it easy to send and a pain in the ass to spend. Helped me in the beginning.
