Rotating tires and changing the oil is really about all the maintenance a person can do on a modern car. I like wrenching and tinkering so that is why I don’t have anything newer than early 70s gas guzzlers haha.

Of course, through 35 years or so I’ve always been driving classic cars, beaters, wrecks or brutal Mercedes RVs, expensive mechanics have touched them a handful of times ONLY

Now with 2 & 3 wheel it’s also far easier alone of course

I do, if it doesn't require hoisting my car and yanking out large pieces. The price at the local oil change shop went up so sharply that I decided to start changing my own oil again.
