I don't get it. Why not just use a lightning account?
More scalable than lightning self custody, and more private and less chance of a rug pull than lightning custodial.

I think its the term eCash and token that triggers a lot of people, :P
It's no different than custodial anything else though. Definitely no worse (and actually way better) than WOS etc.
Just a matter of words.
