Most burned by crypto scams don’t come forward publicly.

Makes it harder to dissuade new classes of victims.

The road to Bitcoin for most involved alts at some point. Important to share those hard lessons.

Been there, done that. Learned a ton.

La plus plupart le vivent sous silence puisqu'honteux de leurs silences puisqu'isoles comme des proies

That’s a great point

Same concept plays out in the US military

It’s hard to get people to speak out about what we’re actually doing overseas

When they say we’re protecting American interests, they fail to mention its American corporate interests

oof

It’s the same scam playing out. Not enough people speak out and the next generation patriotically signs up to answer the call

The most generous interpretation, if I were to steel man the Regime’s argument, is that by protecting American Corporate Interests, they’re protecting the ability of Americans to work and by things

Neo-Feudalism; send your sons and daughters to fight wars for corporations so you can mine fiat, pay taxes, and buy more crap with whatever’s left

Yeah, seems some go down the rabbit-hole of being woo'd by numbers and colors without a clear understanding of value and the underlying dynamics of market behavior relative to a given asset; particularly in highly-concentrated early markets. -- That said, I do believe there will be a few major projects that do quite well. -- And strictly from a purely investment perspective; solely based on reason -- one would have to be.....unfortunately short sighted and still has a bit of reading to do and understanding of human psychology to not have spotted the opportunity in a project like LTC re: 84 million max supply, MWEB etc. But the ..'no brainer' for me is....that with respect the equivalent quantity of maximum supply: 4 LTC = 1 BTC .... Given the aforementioned.....and the necessary education/awareness that the population must come to understand/become aware of IF the Bitcoin thesis plays out. I think the sheer psychology of fraction of a whole will drive some multiple - simple, yeah, but when BTC is 1.4 million units...LTC isn't only 1,500 units HA! .....

I’ve been there. I’m a recovered Web3 Crypto Blockchain Shitcoiner. While losing money was a setback, my greatest source of guilt and regret comes from my previous lack of understanding of securities law from an ethical point of view. Thanks to Michael Saylor, I have learned to identify unregistered securities and avoid all the moral implications and guilt that come with supporting them.

Early on, I invested IOTA coin, and convinced some friends to do the same. There was an online seed generator. I generated the seed, and put the coins in a IOTA wallet. 6 to 9 months later, and the coin was doing real well, the wallet was emptied. I checked with my friends and their wallets were also emptied at the same time. The lead at IOTA was no help at all. Publicly said that if you did not know what you were doing, you should have not invested in it. The guy that put up that seed generator was finally arrested some years later, but none of the stolen funds were recovered. That was the end of my alt coin adventures.
