yes I read this article just a couple weeks ago!

I think his theories makes sense: 1) elite trust the system because it worked for them so far, 2) they think they are in their ivory tower of "knowing all" and can't even entertain the thought that a better idea has not reached and spread into their ivory tower before being spread among the plebs (there's a bit of superiority/arrogance complex...).

His 4 way diagram is also spotless I think.

what do you think of the article? I'm always hungry for sharing ideas 😃

Also, I'm super excited for nostr:nprofile1qyfhwue69uhkcmmrv9kxsmmnwsargwpk8yq3gamnwvaz7tmpv4nkjueww468smewdahx2qpqs05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sgjmwnq 's next book, which if I understood correctly will talk about why some ppl cannot understand bitcoin from a more "human" perspective (someone who has done X his whole life and it has worked for them, sees/experiences the world through through a certain lens, and for him to accept a new idea that goes against all his lived experience is not a matter of simple "raytionality")

I'm with you on the quadrant, it's what I see with my own friends.

They're about to retire, have superannuation and investments in managed funds yet homes not yet paid off. They borrowed against their home equity for children and holidays/cars/renovations, etc. Others do have their home paid off and are living on government pensions and some superannuation.

Others are young, just starting families and paying mortgages. Not wanting to move into anything non-traditional.

They are all super skeptical about Bitcoin. My take is that they heard so much FUD and after making up their mind based on that and mainstream media attitudes, the groupthink, they have decided to not investigate further. Until they are willing to take a good, long, second look and study, they won't be going near it and will continue to believe that my husband and I are nuts.

Didn't realize that Jeff was writing another book. That will definitely be worth reading. 👍

Good luck in your “orangepilling others journey” (if you haven’t had enough already lol), it is tough indeed.

Don’t quote me on Jeff but it did mentioned it in a podcast 👍🏼
