The best way to convince people that they should adopt bitcoin is to build tools and companies that unleash its power and show that it is uniquely suited to enable things that weren’t possible before it launched.

In a 1st world country Bitcoin only resonates with hard money people and doing payments is burdensome.
Credit cards are insured, the KYC does offer something in return.
Truth is it’s number go up technology though
I believe our strongest advantage is the mining/energy sector.
People are dumb and only listen to NGU, although I appreciate the optimism.
One of the almost impossible things to do is to convince people of Bitcoin's usefulness.

Make it convenient.
"Piracy is a service problem" was once said (by the Steam CEO, methinks?) and has stuck with me, just as much as Steve Jobs' "It just works".
Especially these days where the newer generation seems to be suffering from a decreasing attention span and some countries generally growing older, simplicity is very important.
If it causes friction, its more likely to be dropped asap. The less friction, the more retention - as in willing to keep using/staying.
My opinion, anyway. ^^
