Yes but it’s one thing making poor decisions (I have done so often) and taking the hit personally. vs trying to bring other people into something clearly scammy. If you value the friendship and think they’re being naive, then send them a DM saying what they posted sounded very scammy and give them a chance to explain and you can explain how common it is for people to fall for these scams, maybe share how it affected yourself even, then at least you ascertain wether they’re foolishly naive.
i think, generally speaking, if something isnt time sensitive and you are not sure? wait. sleep on it. ask yourself questions about it. journal privately. see if one side (to speak/ to stay silent) gets louder than the other. if it is right for you to speak and you want to, im sure that will become clear to you in time.
