It's so weird.... I have a niece that is like 40 years old and she wants to talk to me to find out about what her dad is/was like My brother got sent to prison when I was 18. I am 51. He is still there. I want so much to be there for my niece, but all I can really tell her is what I know of him when I was pubescent lol. That's all I knew of him.

I found out the morning I was going to high school that he got sent away. Don't know why mom decided to tell us before school? Bad parenting mistake I guess. Had to go home from school I was so devastated.

I want to be there for my niece, but, man, this might be hard. All I have for her are my childhood memories and the few times I got to visit him in the joint. Send light. I might need it. Love 143
