I don't believe the bitcoin game theory model.

Game theory assumes actors understand the game they are playing. In prisoners dilemma, the participants are told the 3 sentences they face given different actions by their confederate.

None of these government actors threatening reserves get it. If they got it they would just act not posture. Bukele was just playing games to tweak the nose of the IMF for a more favorable deal, now proven by his new agreement.

Bhutan had mined and was hodling thousands of bitcoin before the world found out. The only government that maybe gets it.

I think the state is a player. From most of these states perspective #Bitcoin adoption is a lose (-1) option. As Bitcoin separates money from state and takes their power away. That’s how they play the game from their perspective.

The smart move would be to silently stack while publicly keeping quiet or badmouthing bitcoin. Proof that none of the countries threatening a bitcoin reserve get it.

Game theory breaks when none of the actors understand the rules of the game.
