In my personal experience the best way to learn a language is to move to a place where it’s the dominant language and find a lover who’s a native speaker. You’ll be functionally fluent in a few months. And it’s a lot more fun than duolingo.

Is that why you keep bouncing to new countries?

I don’t think you really understand humanity until you’ve learned another language and lived in another culture.

the real question is HOW MANY countries did you stuck your toes in

Oh 70 something. Not even 1/3 of all countries. This world is bigger than we think.

you must be very experienced

Dang how many times have you renewed your passport

call him country lover now

Most countries no longer put stamps in passports but i only once filled up the double pages passport.

I was wondering why they didn't stamp it in Cuba 🤔

I agree and disagree. I spent much of my adolescence moving between countries with the same language, and part of my adult life between countries with different languages. I have learned much more about humanity by living simply in different places, even in the same country.

💯

maybe i’ll set up a fund to move to germany lol. how many languages do you know? one of my aunts used to know 8 languages n i want to be as badass as her one day

Well, in a way. It truly is duolingo... 👅👅
