Even if you are specific and name your conference using "Bitcoin" people will still refer to it as a crypto conference.

Lol. I had that exact same idea. 😅
I think it will sort itself out, the gap of meaning between Bitcoin and crypto projects is widening and I think the idea that a shitcoin can make up for you "being late" has disproven itself for long enough that people new to shitcoins are going in with both eyes open knowing that crypto is gambling and Bitcoin is not.
I think we still have a little ways to go, but we're nearly there.
