I said "much of my life" not "most of my life" I lived in America. And I've never had gold cause it's shit. Before bitcoin I kept most of my wealth in real-estate and equities, all of which dramatically outperformed gold over my lifetime.

Before bitcoin I didnt buy gold except that in India we get lots of it in gifts - marriage or children ceremonies .
I understood the value of Gold only after understanding the value of bitcoin .. turned out it is worth investing in .. last six months prove my point .. Thats why I am always 30 % Bitcoin , 30 % Gold and 30 percent VTI .. ten percent cash .. that too normally goes into mstr most of the times
