I have an Antminer S9i running BraiinsOS+ that I want to use to heat my apartment with but I obv don’t want too much noise. Does anyone have any tips to configuring/underclocking the miner to run more silently? I don’t care if it’s running at a net loss. Just want to heat my home and maybe earn some sats while doing so.

I’m a complete noob when it comes to this shit so bear with me

I believe you are already to use the BraiinsOs+ interface/dashboard (whatever it is called) and adjust the settings on your miner. That should reduce wattage, hash rate etc and affect the sound I think. However have not used it directly. Can anyone else chime in with more experience?

Yeah, I should probably have been more specific. I meant to ask for help on configuration in the Braiins OS+ interface. Thanks though.

Gotcha! Hope you get it figured out. I would like to do the same type of setup one day.
