Same for me. Starting last year in July until February this year. Took me probably 200 applications and towards the end at least 20 hiring processes.
I did transition more towards UI design but had already 10y in graphic design under my belt.
Just got a 60% part time position with now after 6 months talks about increasing hours
So yeah job market is a bit of a hustle these days 😅
