Why is editing video on my $800 phone faster than my $2500 laptop?
It's like Adobe isn't even trying to make performant programs.
Phone: S20 FE 5G
Laptop: XPS 15, 2017, i7 32GB RAM

Android has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the gpus in phones.
Still I'm a little surprised your laptop can't out perform your phone. Adobe usually uses the GPU when rendering.
I typically use kdenlive because I'm a nerd. But even it uses GPU acceleration.
I need to get a machine running Adobe though.
