Android has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the gpus in phones.

Still I'm a little surprised your laptop can't out perform your phone. Adobe usually uses the GPU when rendering.

I typically use kdenlive because I'm a nerd. But even it uses GPU acceleration.

I need to get a machine running Adobe though.
