We are use to it. The only issue is seasonal affective disorder is a real thing here.

I take 4000 iu of vitamin D daily and spend as much time as the weather will allow outside.

I read somewhere if your shadow is longer than you are tall you basically are not getting enough exposure to the sun to synthesize vitamin D
