I don't get it. You mean when I live stream on nostr it will be saved on blossom servers? I normally stream for 1 hour and my streams are like 5GB. Blossom servers usually don't allow anything more then 100MB
Run your own. But also, that 5gb is not one file. It's many many separate files. And you can adjust your segment time to fit within their file size limit. Eventually the output file will be too big but that would be a long long long stream. Like weeks. It would never happen. Storage quota will be a much bigger factor here and anyone that implements it will also definitely need to implement deleting blossom blobs for "unrecorded" empty recording url tag in stream event. Otherwise, you will hit that quota pretty quickly unless you're using your own blossom server.

I thought HLS was the one thing we couldn't do using blossom because it's a bunch of files and just comitting the hash of the .m3u8 to a nostr event doesn't make much sense, but this is a great hack
