Im not against DMs it’s just that it will require rearchitecting since DMs are not threads and the bot is built around walking up threads.

Besides manual mute thread what else can we implement to reduce noise?

Don’t mention/notify me in a note with more than e.g. 5 mentions, and/or 5 people in reply-to field?

I was thinking more along the lines of how can hellthreada be preemptively muted. These may contain different keywords.
