First, beware of the federal subsidies-university racket. Colleges are incentivized to find warm bodies who will choose their school for the classes to take with loans from the government not necessarily for the earnings you will get once you graduate, colleges have limited skin in the game when it comes to your actual income.

Find out what degrees are likely to earn you what you want when you graduate, before you choose your degree or school, find out what jobs you will be qualified for, find someone on linked in doing what you want to do and ask them how to achieve it. Economics, and engineering will likely do you well as a place to start. In State schools are fine. If you are going to pay more than an instate option you better have a damn good reason for the extra expense. Once you have a few years of experience, few will care what school you went to. Keep track of what your program requires yourself, I’ve seen many people get burned by following the advice of school counselors you need to be in charge of your own education and you need it to make sense to you. Trade schools and apprenticeships can also be good options.

Stocks - you will probably be best served with low cost index type etfs. A lot of very educated top paid managers loose to the market, a low cost ETF is a better approach.

If you want to really try to make above average returns. You need to be willing to make it a part time job. Read the “Intelligent Investor” and buy stocks like you buy groceries looking for value on a regular basis, dollar cost averaging is a good approach.

Just because a company makes a product you like, doesn’t mean the company that makes the product is a good investment.

Buy At least some Bitcoin via dollar cost averaging.

I actually loved this thankyou man i appreciate it, i am a engineering major however i didnt know about the linked in part. Currently half of my portfolio is in btc n the other in 3 stocks.🧡
