FOMO bought nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg Premium today, so now I’m officially an OG 2024. But actually I’m OG 2023:

(Remember being a bit disappointed nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx didn’t zap this note. Such a zap-bait, one «like» was all I got. )

When did Primal begin 2023? How did you first find out about it?

Hmmm. Probably more accurate to say Nostr OG 2023, my first notes were made with Damus. I picked it up from some podcast, probably nostr:npub10uthwp4ddc9w5adfuv69m8la4enkwma07fymuetmt93htcww6wgs55xdlq

Ah ok. Could you help me with understanding something. Say you use Alby extension on primal for example does that just mean you don’t put in the private key as in copy and paste it? Is it still visible on the accounts section? Just thinking if it’s higher in security or not as I don’t ever really put a private key into primal for example after I’m logged in.

I’m really not an expert, but I’ve used my nsec on several Nostr clients. You should of course be very careful with this, and I guess this is what Alby extension helps you with. Haven’t tried it yet myself.

Hmm that’s my thought - being security conscious - What’s the difference between using Alby and a password manager which auto fills. Same principle I believe just not entirely sure is all.
