My family took in foreign students in the 1980s, most of whom were French, Spanish, or German, but these two were Russian. Viktor on the left, Konstantin on the right (Kostya, as he liked to be called; and his English was flawless). This was taken at a Friday night out at Portsmouth Greyhound Stadium, late 1980s, where the boys were getting an education in gambling on dog-racing from my family.
