Ex: 😠I thought you made them for me? And people say things they don't mean when they're upset.
Me: Yeah well I was upset you returned a gift, that I worked on!
Nostriches. What is the best path? Return the paintings to her? Or let my buddy keep them?

This is true.
But when a person keeps saying that they are done, storms off, makes a scene, a person grows weary of it. She pulled this stunt over the course of the relationship at least three times.
