All of this, it took me into my 30s to realize it.

If I had to say to my 25yr old self I would say that you no longer have to live for others expectations of yourself. You can create & live your own experiences and that the people who love you will love and support you & the others are just trying to keep you with them.

people had told me that for years but it wasn't until like last month that I understood the impact of this on myself. I'm sure it's different for everyone, but holy shit it's way easier said than done.

I think the even harder one to break is the expectations you put on yourself too. It's the same thing just harder to see where it comes from.
